Abstract
The following text attempts to highlight, focusing on one of the controversial aspects of teaching literature – the evaluation of the final exams in Bulgarian secondary schools, comparing it with the international educational standards and showing its logical interdepedence with the aporia of the Bulgarian education system. The title may possibly be a little misleading, because what we have in mind is not exactly the way this evaluation is done, but uncertainties, deformations, institutional intention that the young generation be evaluated " soothingly", although, at the same time, their abilities and needs are shockingly " underestimated“.
