АНТОН МИТОВ: ПИОНЕР БОЛГАРСКОГО ИЗОБРАЗИТЕЛЬНОГО ИСКУССТВА НА СТРАНИЦАХ ТУРЕЦКОГО ЖУРНАЛА „ШЕХБАЛЬ“

Abstract

In this paper, the essay by Hüseyin Arif about Anton Mitov published in the „Shehbal“ (Şehbal) magazine in 1914 is considered. The life of Anton Mitov, the pioneer of Bulgarian painting art, and the reception of his activities in Turkey, are examined. In addition to this, the article tries to reveal how the magazine attempted to affect the changing process experienced in our country through Bulgarian fine arts.
