Abstract
The present paper attempts to shed light on the translation reception of Bulgarian literature in Greece since the beginning of twentieth century till now. The factors that predetermined and governed this reception were connected to the characteristics of the receiving Greek culture, to the political, ideological and culture tendencies. The Bulgarian literature was introduced in Greece at the beginning of 20-th century – the translation reception was not a one-dimensional matter. Distinct periods and tendencies could be discerned in the translation reception process. The past of translation reception of Bulgarian literature was fortunately substituted by a decent, active present, that can only give hope for a brilliant future.
