МИТОЛОГИЧНОСТ И БАЈКОВИТОСТ СТАРОСРБИЈАНСКИХ СВЕТОВА У НАРОДНОЈ ПРОЗИ
Abstract
In this paper great attention will be paid to multilayered meanings in prose forms created on the territory of Southern Old Serbia and to finding out the essence of tradition as collective action that opens the door for the upcoming impacts that are reflected in written literature. These impacts originate from a wide spectrum of human existence: myth, religion, customs and morality, written and unwritten laws. These elements incorporated in folklore draw our attention and point to life which is still full of specific life dramas, happiness and misfortune, joy and grief, life and death. The richness and beauty of folk creations written in dialect reveal a complex life typical not only for Serbian, but for the Balkans territory as well.
