Abstract

This scientific research dwells on the last novel of the famous German writer Christa Wolf City of Angeles or The Overcoat of Dr. Freud with regard to the issues of intertextuality and interculturality. In her autobiographical novel, Christa Wolf talks about her stay in Los Angeles in 1992 – 1993 as a fellow, working on a narrative project. At the same time, she remembers her past as it relates to important historical events.
