RESONANCES FROM THE IDEOLOGIZATION OF LITERARY PROCESSES IN ITALY DURING THE 1950S
Abstract
In the 1950s in Italy the practice of giving away prizes for literary works set criteria for value which determined the editorial policy in Bulgaria in terms of translating Italian titles. This text examines eloquent coincidences between awarded titles and their translations into Bulgarian in the light of recently published study results.
