TAXIS RELATIONS IN FRENCH AND BULGARIAN

Abstract

The aim of this paper is the clarification of some parallels in the French and Bulgarian verb systems in relation to the basic formal and semantic oppositions asynchronicity~ non-asynchronicity, resultativity ~ non-resultativity, relativity ~ non-relativity in the morphological categories of time, type of action and taxis.
