PECULIARITIES AND PROBLEMS OF LEARNER’S DICTIONARIES OF GERMAN

Abstract

The paper deals with the issue of learner’s dictionaries. After a historical overview of the development of the learner’s lexicography and a discussion of the specifics of learner’s dictionaries the paper analyses the currently available dictionaries for learners of German.
