dc.description.abstract | Besides the Church Slavonic case forms inherited from the literary tradition, there are active folk case patterns in the Damascene. These include the genitive-accusative case forms ending with an -a from nouns in masculine form, the generalized vocative case form господи serving as a subject and an indirect object, traces of the archaic dative case form for the feminine singular form, сфетехи, женетухи, the declining third personal indicative pronoun ТЪ is a function of the definite article. The first feature is widely spread in contemporary Bulgarian language, while the others are a result of a limited dialectical development, in parallel with the main approach towards analytical construction. | en_US |
