ANDREAS KARKAVITSAS'S „SPONGE DIVERS“ IN THE INTERPRETATIONS OF TWO ΒULGARIAN TRANSLATORS
Abstract
Based on specified criteria, this paper explores, compares and analyses, both of the bulgarian translations and the source literary text in the Greek language. It focuses on areas of significant conceptual distance between the interpretations of the individual translators. In the context of translation studies the aim of the present observation is to point out the correct understanding and the adequate interpretation of original literary work as well as the effectiveness of the used translation technique.
