dc.description.abstract	The place Oborishte plays a key role in the 1876 April Uprising. Later, it becomes a memorial place, a symbol of self-sacrifice. In a series of speculative articles it has been called Jerusalem (Gethsemane). Thus the symbol is a focus for observing the Bulgarian national history through the Biblical prism.	en_US
