THE PARADIGM OF MODERNISM IN THE MÁCHA RECEPTION
Abstract
The aim of this article is to briefly describe the paradigm of Czech modernism and its importance for the Mácha reception. The first part of the article focuses on the actual description of the period of Czech literary modernism, which emphasizes the greatest changes in art and literature that shape the true face of Czech literary modernism. The second part is devoted to
the Mácha reception. Using the Mácha Reception, I analyze the depth of interest in Máchaʼs poet and Máchaʼs personality, thus proving its topicality. Every generation of Czech literary modernism is exposed to other influences of inspiration and thus keeps Máchaʼs work still active.
