THE BULGARIAN RELATIVE RESULTATIVE PRESENT AND ITS CZECH FUNCTIONAL EQUIVALENTS
Abstract
The report examines word forms of the active indicative relative resultative present tense (pluperfect or past perfect tense) in Bulgarian as well as some of their functional equivalents in the Czech language. The subject matter of the report is the grammatical asymmetry between the Bulgarian language and the Czech language in this area of verbal variation. The purpose of the report is to study the theoretical grounds for choosing one or another solution in the translation of the said verbal forms from Bulgarian into Czech.
