NEW-FOUND COPIES OF GLAGOLITIC PRAYERS IN THE ZOGRAF LITERARY TRADITION FROM XIII C.
Abstract
The article presents data about new-found copies of Glagolitic prayers over wine, over a dirty container and for people who are starting a journey. These prayers are very archaic and close to the text of Euchologium Sinaiticum from X c. They were found in a parchment prayer-book from XIII c. which is kept in the Zograf Monastery Library on Mount Athos. In this manuscript I have found unknown in the scientific sphere copies of Prayers on Pentecost, which are very similar to the Glagolitic ones from X c. They are published here for the first time.
