“RAZNOCHINSTVO“ AND “NIHILISM“ THROUGH THE PRISM OF IVAN TURGENEV’S NOVEL “FATHERS AND SONS“
Abstract
The paper discusses the issues of “nihilism“ and “raznochinstvo“ through the prism of the Ivan Turgenev’s novel Fathers and Sons. Through a historical review and an analysis of the character of Evgeny Bazarov the article reveals the reasons for the occurrence and development of these phenomena in the literary and social lives of Russian society in the 19th century.
