TRANSLATIONAL TRANSFORMATIONS, USED BY ANASTAS GRANITSKI IN A RUSSIAN-BULGARIAN PHRASEBOOK FROM 1878

Abstract

The article examines a Russian-Bulgarian phrasebook from the 1870’s, authored by Anastas Granitski. The aim of this text is to present briefly some of the translation methods and techniques used by the author. The article attempts to analyze the translational transformations that the author makes in his RussianBulgarian phrasebook.
