THE STATUS OF THE PRAGMATONYMS IN THE LANGUAGE SYSTEM
Abstract
The focus of the present study are the pragmatonyms, conventionally referred to as chrematonyms in onomastic classifications – proper names of onimic objects, which have appeared as a result of human social activity (economical, political, cultural). The aim is to outline the specifics of the names, denoting products, which are manufactured in series, as well as to trace out their status, fluctuating along the axis singularity – plurality, or, respectively, nomina propria – nomina appellativa.
