THE DETERMINERS IN CONTEMPORARY BULGARIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract

The paper treats determiners in contemporary Bulgarian language. They are markers of definiteness and indefiniteness. Depending on there semantics and language specifics, determiners are classified as: grammatical (articles – definite and indefinite 01 , 02 ), lexical (demonstrative and indefinite pronouns), semantic (proper names). The competition between these determiners is not examined closely.
