POETICS OF ANALOGIES IN DIMTCHO DEBELYANOV'S POETRY
Abstract
The subject of the present paper is the problem of analogies and their inversion in Debelyanov’s poetry – a matter of structural significance in his poetic world. This issue has been approbated with students from the 11th grade of Ivan Vazov Foreign-Language High School in Plovdiv – as a lesson introducing novel knowledge. Debelyanov’s verses „Stifled wails“ and „Remember, remember that garden serene“ are presented on the basis of three focal points: analogies and inversion of analogies (memory-dream and reality), analogies of gestures, and synaesthesia – mixture of sensations.
