The article treats the issue of addressing in conversation. It describes the gender aspects and their impact on choosing name or alternative address, as for example, title, when speaking to male/female. The text considers the significance of the address stereotypes and provides the results from a research on this topic, focusing on Bulgarian and Czech language.
