ACOUSTIC ANALYSIS OF FRENCH ORAL VOWELS IN THE SPEECH OF FEMALE PRESENTERS

Abstract

Female voices are not preferred for acoustic analysis therefore the existing data is limited. The topic of the present study is the values of first and second formants for female voices which are part of especially created corpus of female speakers. We interpret the first results obtained for the formant’s values, compared in table and graphs, and on this basis we have created the individual pronunciation model completing the French collection of the software SARP5.
