LEXICO-SYNTAGMATIC FEATURES OF INTERJECTIONS IN BULGARIAN AND CZECH
Abstract
The last part of speech – the interjection is usually characterized by morphological invariability, syntactical independence and functional pragmatic isolation. Language, however, as a complex unity of meaningful characters, presupposes the impossibility for either of its elements to be thoroughly isolated. In the present text we aim at tackling a topic which seems to be an oxymoron. The combinatory potential of the interjections, the level of stability of certain combinations, the possibilities and tendencies related to lexical syntagmas – these are only part of the questions put by this aspect of realization of the interjection which has not yet been studied so far.
