ON THE PLACE OF WORD FORMATION IN THE LANGUAGE SYSTEM

Abstract

This report concerns a topic controversial to linguists, namely, the place of word formation in the language system. We aim at presenting the different veiwpoints on this matter both in Bulgarian and Spanish linguistic references, which classify word formation at different linguistic levels, defining it as a „bridge“ discipline between levels, or even as a mere level itself.
