ACOUSTIC ANALYSIS OF BULGARIAN VOWELS USING THE SARP5 PROGRAM

Abstract

The object of the study in this article is the formant structure of Bulgarian vowels, especially the values of first and second formants (F1/F2) for female voices because the existing data are scarce. The aim of this research is the existing data to be enriched with new results, which to be obtained on the basis of a large number of speakers with the help of the high-productive computer tool – SARP and thus create simultaneously to a representative for the Bulgarian language collection (discourses with analyzed vowels), integrated in the Program and disbursed by it for future comparative researches.
