THE CATEGORY OF TENSE IN POLISH AND BULGARIAN ON THE BORDELINE BETWEEN LINGUISTICS AND OTHER NEIGHBOURING DISCIPLINES
Abstract
This article is an attempt to consider the aspect of time from different perspectives, not only purely linguistic. Although, as Anusiewicz claims, grammar is a highly-formalized interpretation of reality, the subject of temporal systems is usually neglected by such disciplines as psycholinguistics or sociolinguistics. A large number of scholars observe the need of holistic consideration of grammar issues, yet they usually centre on lexis and phonetics. The article demonstrates the conceptions which show how to work on temporal systems in an interdisciplinary manner, including the results of research in different fields of the humanities.
