ALBANIAN: THE LANGUAGE OF THE ILIRIANS

Abstract

It is widely believed that the ethnicity and language of Albanians originate from ancient Illyrians. In support of this theory put anthropological, archaeological and linguistic evidence. This thesis is viewed as sufficiently convincing and official in Albania. Of course, the formation of Albanian ethnicity have affected a number of other factors, but the nature and historical vicissitudes have helped to keep the originality of this extraordinary culture.
