MYTHS AND LEGENDS IN IVO ANDRIC'S OMER PASHA LATAS
Abstract
In this work, attention is paid to the presence of myth and legend in the novel „Omer-paša Latas“, wich are essential elements of Ivo Andric's narrative proceedings. Highlighted are the specific writer's attitude to myth and legend, from wich becomes clear the writer's belief that the key to understanding the present is in the past.
