IVO ANDRIC'S ORPHEUS-LIKE JOURNEY IN HOUSE IN ISOLATION
Abstract
Jung makes a distinction between two types of art. The first type is manifested by a conscious intention: the epitome of ideas and meanings. There is also this other type of work resulting from the creative process, which is considered independent from the vendor. The posthumous collection of Andric's short stories, Кuća na osami, reflects both types of artistic creation. The author’s intention is included in an attempt to tell the wondrous human destiny, but the archetypal Orphic journey into the world of the dead arises as sensory-fledged over.
