SCHOOLCHILDREN'S VISION OF SLAVONIC-BULGARIAN HISTORY AND PAISII HILENDARSKI

Abstract

The work researches „Slavonic-Bulgarian History“ in Bulgarian literary history and in the national literary canon. It compares the concepts of Paisii and his „History“ that have been introduced into academic and high-school literature and the actual memory about the author and his literature in the public. Scolars discuss the symbolizations which Paisii distinguishes about modern Bulgarian consciousness. The work is based on field researches.
