OBSERVATIONS ON THE USE OF SOME IMPERSONAL VERB FORMS IN THE KESARIEV COPY OF PAISII'S HISTORYOBSERVATIONS ON THE USE OF SOME IMPERSONAL VERB FORMS IN THE KESARIEV COPY OF PAISII'S HISTORY
Abstract
The article presents a manuscript which has not yet been studied in depth so far. It is known as known as Kesariy's transcript of Paisii Hilendarski’s Slavonic-Bulgarian History. The object of examination are the non-personal verb forms (variable and invariable). More particularly, attention is paid to the inconsistency of the use of the infinitive, the present and the past participle. Emphasis is given to examples warning of the fading of participial semantics.
