PRESENT-DAY CZECH ACTIVE PRETERITЕ AND ITS FUNCTIONAL EQUIVALENTS IN PRESENT-DAY BULGARIAN
Abstract
The subject of this article is the asymmetry between the preteritе microfields in present-day Czech and Bulgarian. The object of research is to be found in the Czech active preteritе forms and their Bulgarian functional equivalents. The aim is to present the results of a synchronic contrastive analysis as a fan of functional equivalents and to prepare an algorithm for optimal translation of these finite verb forms from Czech into Bulgarian.
