INTRODUCING THE MAN AND THE WOMAN IN THE RUSSIAN PHRASEOLOGY (LEXICAL-SEMANTIC COMPARISON OF PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS WITH DIRECT NOMINAL)
Abstract
The article examines the semantic characteristics of nominals and the gender referee of idioms with components “man” and “woman” in the Russian language. The gender asymmetry in the phraseology manifests in the quantity as well as in the quality not only in relation to referee in sex, but also towards axiological characteristic of men and women. Тhe changes, which are part of the
phraseological-lexicological sources, in the gender stereotype are marked.
