ON THE VERBAL SYSTEM IN THE IDIOM LETTERS OF POP YOAN PETKOV (on materials from the manuscript The Priest Yoan’s Rewrite, 1830)

Abstract

The object of study is the manuscript book of “The Life of Saint Xenophon“, which is part of The Priest Yoan’s Rewrite (Zmeevo, 1830). The peculiarities of the verb system in the idiom letters of pop Ioan Petkov are presented trough a comparative analysis with the original Church Slavonic text of Dimitri Rostovsky (1714).
