The opposing of Christian and chivalric values in the 13th century French prose romance “The Quest of the Holy Grail” deprived many knights in King Arthur’s court of the opportunity for a moral choice. Christian values have been imposed on them and the path of repentance where there are no knightly feats, but just suffering and humility. The need for transformation of the glorious Arthur’s knights is accompanied by emotionality provoking the understanding of corporality and spirituality, of visible and invisible or just inaccessible truths for each of them.en_US
