The Balkan Linguistic Union is actually a group of languages spoken on the Balkan Peninsula; they are different in terms of kinship degree, but they have a lot of common features, which have arisen due to the interlinguistic impact and permeation on the same area. Serbian language, on the whole, belongs to the periphery of The Balkan Linguistic Union. However, Serbian Southern-East speeches are a part of Shaler’s category of “the first rank Balkan languages”. This work examines and analyses those Balkanisms in PrizrenTimok’s colloquial zone which dialectologists mostly enumerate in the PrizrenTimok’s description and which are on Shaler’s list of, so called, primary Balkanisms: analytical declination, analytical comparation, merging forms of personal pronouns, postpositive article, lack of the infinitive, analytical future, expirational accent. To this analysis, discourses of all three subdialects of Prizren-Timok’s colloquial zone have been submitted. They are: Timok-Luznik, Svrljig-Zaplanje and Prizren-Southern-Moravian type of speeches, including the Southern-Moravian speech of Kosovo and Metohia. This work is structured according to the existing bibliography about the speeches in Prizren-Timok’s colloquial zone.en_US
