| dc.description.abstract | A few of the main consonant particularities of the Mexican variant of Spanish language are presently examined. Cultural group conservation and intervocalic and end-of-word pronunciation of -d are pointed out. In view of these particularities, the occurrence or absence of consonant elision in Spanish variants or/and dialects is looked into.
