| dc.description.abstract | The study presents the image of the young woman as described in the proverbs of two European nations – the Bulgarian and the Spanish. Due to the fact that proverbs express truths based on common sense or the practical experience of humanity, the aim of the present research is to extract from them cultural and social information that enables us to better understand the character of young women, as well as the public attitudes towards their personalities. In the study we consider precisely their virtues and flaws because these are the two most mentioned aspects of the image of young women in the proverbs of the two languages. | en_US |
