PECULIARITIES OF THE FIGHT AGAINST LINGUISTIC SEXISM IN THE SPANISH LANGUAGE

Abstract

The present research focuses on the nature and characteristics of language sexism. It also discusses the problems of confusion of language and social sexism and the inappropriate ways to fight it in the Spanish language which led some linguists to think that the woman is being advertised as a product instead of being raised to the level of man.
