EPISTOLARY COMMUNICATION AS A SOURCE OF LANGUAGE MATERIAL FOR LINGUO-CULTURAL RESEARCH
Abstract
The main focus of this paper is upon the problem of how to chooselinguistic data for a linguo-cultural analysis. Dictionary entries, linguistic corpora, phraseological units, precedent texts, all have long ago been established as reliable sources of (almost, one might say, compulsory) choice to the scholarly researcher. In addition to that, I believe that the content of a linguocultural concept could also be recognized in epistolary communication.
