The article looks into the etymological aspect of the Russian lexeme toska which is the name of one of the key concepts of Russian culture. The importance of this „inner form“ for perception of the word and experiencing the concept is shown. The inner form reveals the connection with different slots of the concept’s frame thus providing us with insights into concepts and their constituents of the same semantic zone in Bulgarian and English.en_US
