| dc.description.abstract | The article at hand explores the naming trends in the group of phraseological expressions in the Bulgarian language. Similes are characterized by a stable lexical composition, similarly to the rest of the phraseological units. However, since the individual makes a comparison using what is familiar and known as a base, the examined components are also subject to innovation – names of fairytale characters, sportspeople, actors, etc. are preferred instead of those of divine beings and those typical for our people. | en_US |
