dc.description.abstract | The intensification means high level of action or feature signified by a special word – a pronoun, a particle an adjective, an idiom, and accent. The paper observes the usage of the pronoun един (edin, one, an, a) as a means of intensification. The indefinite pronoun works in various ways: emphasizes the quality, expresses a positive or a negative pragmatic assessment. The pronoun edincombines with proper names, common names (abstract or concrete) in different syntactic positions, most commonly in a predicative position. The phrases with edin are usually stylistically marked. | en_US |
