    Abstract
In today's reality, it is often far more valuable to approach problems creatively than the knowledge gained in a given field. According to a number of authors, our brains work much more efficiently and cope much better with the perception, processing and memorization of information presented through images. The mapping of ideas presents the objects and the connections between them precisely visually, activating and engaging both hemispheres of the brain. Applying the method in a Bulgarian language class activates students, allows them to approach problems more creatively and helps them to think more systematically. Students admit that they would use this method of taking notes in other subjects as well, that such classes are interesting and useful. This is the basis of effective learning. This certainly has a motivating effect on both the students and the teacher.
