ON THE SCOPE AND DEPTH IN THE COMPLEX COMPOUND SENTENCE – PARALLEL OBSERVATIONS

Abstract

The article examines the results of parallel observations on the scope and depth of complex compound sentences from classical Bulgarian texts. The analyses are obtained with the help of syntactic sketches and structural models, which are described in detail. The text also includes the topic of structural models of old Bulgarian texts. Summary data on the complex compound sentences by the Bulgarian authors Emilian Stanev and Yordan Yovkov are also presented.
