TEACHING SERBIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE USING WEB TOOLS
Abstract
If a complex and dynamic system such as education wants to progress and
achieve the highest goalss, it must not lag behind the intensive and rapid
social,technical and technological changes. In addition to providing factual
knowledge, the teacher should encourage students’ creativity and critical
thinking, as well as guide them through the advanced stages of cognitive
development. The possibility to choose from among diverse educational web
tools satisfies various concepts in learning a foreign language. They can be
harmonized with the methodological principles of obviousness, gradualness
and adequacy, and visibly improve student results. The paper presents some of
the web 2.0 tools with examples of how they can be incorporated into teaching.
