ON THE FORMANTS WHICH TAKE PART IN THE FORMATION OF THE “PRESENT PASSIVE PARTICIPLE“ IN CONTEMPORARY BULGARIAN

Abstract

The following paper is a part of a bigger study, the subject of which is the “present passive participle”, or the deverbative forms with the suffix -m in Contemporary Bulgarian. The aim of this research is to examine the formants, which take part in the formation of the deverbatives in question. A classification of the excerpted material considering the conjugation of the derivative verb is suggested. This specific paper refrains from defining the status of the deverbatives with the suffix -m, which will be a subject of future studies.
