dc.description.abstractTeaching a foreign language for specific purposes is directed towards learners’ immediate professional needs. Its main objective is the development of specialized communicative competence and its integration into the learners’ general professional competence based on the accurate use of the respective terminological vocabulary both in the mother tongue and in the foreign language. The object of the present research is the terminological vocabulary in teaching English for Specific Purposes and learners’ strategies for its acquisition. The research aim is to outline some approaches leading to improving the efficiency of terminology acquisition in teaching business English in an academic context.en_US
