Abstract

The article examines the ways of initiation in the book “The Lonely Windmills” by Stanislav Startiev. In his early works, children enter the world of the grown-ups in various ways. The meeting between the world of rules where everything is either good or bad and the world of the many colors provokes questions about universal truths.
