THE BULGARIAN IMPERATIVE DA-CONSTRUCTIONS AND THEIR TRANSLATION EQUIVALENTS IN ITALIAN
Abstract
The object of analysis is the Bulgarian da-imperative constructions and
their functional equivalents in modern Italian. The paper present a brief overview of the previous research conducted by Bulgarian linguists on the nature
and the specific features of the constructions and focuses on their semantic
diversity. The conclusions are supported by examples excerpted from Bulgarian fiction and their translations in Italian.
