Abstract
This article addresses a current and unexplored topic in Bulgarian linguistics, related to bilingual colloquialists in the 19th century. The article deals with 11 phrasebooks from the Bulgarian Renaissance era. An attempt has been made to analyze the external and internal layout of the books of this genre.
